The clinic was completed in 1982.  A trained midwife in Uyogo delivers babies and treats mothers and children in the Clinic.  He also runs the Dispensary which is stocked with medicines from the government’s Central Medical Stores on a regular basis; the supplies are well-organised and labelled in the Dispensary.  The system seems to work well.  Current KUFL Chair Kit Lawry and her husband James Kennedy visited Uyogo in October 2019 to see for themselves how old and new projects are currently being used in Uyogo.
