Jumanne William, one of the Uyogo village students who visited Kenilworth as a guest of Kenilworth School last year described how his learning was affected by shortages of teachers and textbooks.
One of the Kenilworth School students suggested learning using some of the extensive free material available on the internet.
Internet connectivity in the village is uncertain so an offline option using a small inexpensive computer known as a Raspberry Pi had been tested by the Kenilworth School students and is now on its way to the village to be tried out.
The Raspberry Pi unit is in safe keeping and we await developments regarding the fitting out of the secondary school with power, so that the unit may be deployed.
